Quezon City, November 28, 2024 – Politeknik Al Islam Bandung proudly participated in the International Research and Innovation for Sustainable Education (I-RISE) Conference 2024, themed “EDUKTRENDS: Empowering Future-Ready Education through Innovation and Sustainable Practices”. Held at the QCU Auditorium, San Bartolome Campus, Quezon City, Philippines, the event also marked a significant milestone with the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), solidifying collaborative efforts toward sustainable education and innovation.

Five faculty members from Politeknik Al Islam Bandung presented groundbreaking research at the seminar. Karmilah discussed integrating 21st-century skills into English language education for health vocational students, while Shiane explored the Kamishibai method in fostering clean and healthy living behaviors in early childhood. Tetty Ekasari and Sri Djatnika highlighted the role of green practices in education to support SDG 3, and Wiwin Winarti examined the decade-long journey of BPJS Kesehatan, focusing on its challenges and opportunities. Additionally, a study on the legal protection of passive smokers emphasized the right to a healthy environment. These contributions underscore Politeknik Al Islam Bandung’s commitment to advancing vocational education and innovation on a global scale.
